WFEL's Rapidly Depoyable Bridging System

Statement from Ian Anderton, WFEL's Managing Director:

19th March 2020

Given the unprecedented worldwide situation we are all facing as a result of COVID-19, and fully appreciating the uncertainty that this is bringing to us all, I wanted to take the time to reassure you that WFEL is closely monitoring the situation and taking account of all the advice from both the UK Government and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

We hold the welfare of our people as a top priority and are doing everything we possibly can to keep them safe. Our recent preparations in anticipation of this situation mean that we are looking to have minimal disruption for our customers and business partners.

We have taken a number of steps to protect our personnel, such as limiting face-to-face meetings, reducing the numbers of visitors to our manufacturing site and halting non-essential travel. We are using technology wherever possible to ensure business continuity.

Rest assured that we are working around the clock with our suppliers and other business partners to ensure we have the most up to date information in place during this time. We are assured by our supply chain partners that there are currently no issues with materials procurement to cover our all existing production schedules.

As the situation is constantly evolving, our policies are continually being reviewed in light of the latest Government guidelines.

We know that the next few weeks and months are going to be challenging but we are confident that, where WFEL has the ability to influence and control things, there will be a minimal amount of disruption to our business. We are planning - as far as possible - for it to be business as usual.

Please feel free to contact a member of WFEL’s team should you have any further questions or concerns.
